DESIGN PROCESS
PHASE I | PROJECT INQUIRY
Once you submit your project inquiry form and fill out the provided questionnaire about your project, Haley will schedule a call to discuss your design needs further. We ask that you provide as much information as possible to help us gauge whether our design studio is the right fit for your project. After the call and learning more details about your project, if she finds the project is a good fit Haley will schedule your in-person consultation at the end of the call.
PHASE 2 | IN PERSON CONSULTATION & DESIGN PROPOSAL
During the in person consultation, we get to know you and the needs of your project. We discuss your goals and determine functional requirements as well as the aesthetic you want to achieve. We establish the project scope of work, prioritize design goals, and discuss the budget. After the meeting, Haley will prepare a design proposal based on the scope of work you previously discussed at the in home consultation.
PHASE 3 | PRE-DESIGN / CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
At this phase, Haley gathers and organizes any inspiration or request you previously provided, and works to refine the initial design concepts for each space. Ideas for architectural elements, materials, and color schemes are produced through shared imagery.
PHASE 4 | DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
Developing the schematic ideas into a fully functional design solution, includes project specific items such as cabinetry design and the selection of flooring, wall coverings, counters, hardware, plumbing, lighting and finishes. This phase ends with the design selections presented to you in a digital presentation along with material samples and documentation of all selections that have been made. Throughout construction, we are happy to answer any questions you or your builder might have along the way when implementing the intended designs.
PHASE 5 | FURNISHING DESIGN & SELECTIONS
Once designs are completed and material selections are made and documented. We will meet with you to review and discuss the furnishings budget along with any of your request or details needed for the design. Next, we begin the design selections of your furnishings, such as upholstery, casegoods, rugs, window treatments, art and accessories for full-service clients. A digital design presentation along with sample materials such as textiles and finishes will follow the selection process.
